All boxes ship out during the first week of the month and renewals occur on the 15th of the month. October boxes ship out during the first week in October, November boxes ship out the first week in November, December boxes ship out the fist week in December, etc.

You must sign up before the last day of the month to receive the current box. Once your box ships out, you will receive a confirmation email with USPS tracking information.

If you ever need to close your subscription, you can cancel anytime by logging into your account or emailing us at support@sensorytheraplaybox.com. In order to receive a refund, you must request one before the 19th of the month. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for boxes that have already shipped or if it is past the 19th of the month. To request a refund, please email us at support@sensorytheraplaybox.com.

Our sensory boxes are intended for autistic children and kids with sensory processing needs. Kiddos with neurological differences (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc.) can also benefit from the items inside Sensory TheraPLAY Box. Even if your child does not have a diagnosis, all children including those who have anxiety, temper tantrums, and impulsivity can use sensory tools to support healthy coping and self-regulation skills.

Every month you will receive a surprise assortment of 5-7 sensory toys and tools for your child. Examples of items include putty, aromatherapy dough, textured tactile toys/ fidgets, craft activities that promote fine motor skills, light up toys, unique stress balls, and more!

We alway check the items to make sure they are intact before placing them inside your Sensory TheraPLAY Box. However, if you receive a damaged item, please email us at support@sensorytheraplaybox.com within 5 days of receiving your box and we will gladly assist you to send out a replacement!

Our boxes are generally designed for children ages 5–9, but that's just a guideline. Every child with sensory or developmental differences has unique strengths, preferences, and levels of independence- so the materials may suit a wider age range depending on your child's needs.

Some activities, like crafts or fine motor tasks, may require a bit more guidance or hands-on support from an adult.

And truly- sensory play has no age limit. Who says a tactile fidget or a toy with an unusual texture can't be helpful (or fun!) at any age?

These tools are meant to support focus, regulation, and exploration…and that's something everyone can benefit from.

We recommend that an adult always supervise while your child explores the items inside the Sensory TheraPLAY Box. While many of the activities encourage independent play, some items may not be suitable for unsupervised use- especially for children who mouth objects or have Pica.

If your child seeks oral sensory input frequently, please use your best judgment to determine if this box is the right fit, and remove any items that may not be safe for them.

Yes! If you'd like to try out a single Sensory TheraPLAY Box- or send one as a gift without worrying about auto-renewals- simply choose the Month-to-Month plan. As long as you cancel before the 15th, (renewal day) you will not be charged for another box.
