What you will find inside:
Last Mouse Lost - If you like popping bubble wrap, you’re going to love this game! Wether pressing down on one mouse or a whole row, it’s a great fine motor game that also works on visual motor skills, strengthens cognitive skills and teaches social skills (such as turn taking.) Overall, this is a wonderful game which also incorporates sensory, tactile fun! Your child can play the game according to the rules or simply have fun popping and pressing down on the buttons to use as a hand fidget.
How to play:
The mice have just finished feasting and need to scurry into their holes. Don't be the last mouse standing or you might get caught by the cat!
1. Players take turns pressing down any number of mice they wish in a single row. 2. The player who presses down the last mouse loses the round. 3. Whoever wins three of five rounds wins the game!
Abilitations Seat Cushion-This tactile seat cushion can be used on the ground, in a chair, during mealtime, circle time, etc. Provides sensory input and encourages weight shifting/ fidgeting to help improve concentration. If desired, this cushion can also be inflated with an air pump for a different sensory experience. Overall, it’s perfect for children who need to wiggle around and move in their seats.
SCENTsory Gumballer-The newest addition to the Thinking Putty line! This has a a different texture to it due to the rainbow “confetti” infused into the putty. It also has a classic bubblegum scent to it for a fun sensory experience. This putty has a softer, less firm texture, so it’s easier for children with lower muscle tone and decreased hand strength to stretch and manipulate.
Num Nom Erasers-Fun scented erasers to use on your pencil! They are stackable and will fit on HB #2 pencils.
Wikki Stix-There’s no right or wrong way to use Wikki Stix! They adhere to almost any smooth surface with slight fingertip pressure. Create designs and shapes or use scissors to cut them for some extra fine motor work. The tacky, tactile feel makes them fun to twist and fidget with and can help improve focus and attention when used as a quiet fidget tool. Wikki Stix are great for tactile and kinesthetic learning activities. They are ideal for making borders, showing where to start and stop on the paper, and as a border for coloring in lines. Simply doodling and playing with the Wikkies by making 3-D designs/ creations can help improve grasp/ fine motor skills.
Shark Tooth Chew- This necklace provides wearable and discreet solution for children who need to chew and offers a safe alternative to biting on shirts, pencils, fingers, etc. Use this shark tooth chew as an oral fidget to help soothe and self-regulate during times of stress or to help improve concentration during school related tasks. It is also on a break-away necklace so if too much pressure is exerted, the necklace will break apart. Not all children need to chew, so if your child does not have oral sensory seeking needs, please do not encourage chewing. For children who do not need an oral sensory item, you can use this item as a hand fidget. The smooth texture can be calming to run your fingers over to help improve focus and concentration. FDA compliant, no lead, phthalates, PVC, BPA or latex.
Balloon Skinz-Simply insert a deflated balloon into the balloon cover hole, blow up the balloon, tie the end, and push the tied end inside the cover. You now have a super lightweight and bouncy, stuffed animal ball that is safe and fun for all ages. It's lighter and bouncier than a regular ball, so throwing and catching your ballon animal is perfect for working on eye-hand coordination. With this soft fabric cover, balloons won't easily pop and in the instance they do pop, the balloon pieces are safely contained inside the cover.
